Experimental activity of Sofia Vocational Lyceum within the framework of the experimental site of the Institute of Vocational Education of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine on the topic: "Scientific and methodological bases of specialized training of school students on the basis of vocational schools"


The purpose of the experiment:
Theoretically substantiate the scientific and methodological foundations of specialized training of school students in the professions "Driver of vehicles", "Hairdresser"


Experiment hypothesis:

The introduction of specialized training of school students on the basis of vocational schools, provided that it meets the standards of the new generation will help optimize the training of skilled workers in vocational schools


     


Experimental results:

  • Developed curricula and programs according to the DS VET for the professions "Driver of vehicles", "Hairdresser"

  • The legal framework for the experiment has been issued

  • An analytical note on the possibilities of conducting specialized training of schoolchildren on the basis of vocational schools in the professions "Driver of vehicles" and "Hairdresser"

  • The equipment used in the profile training of school students was monitored

  • The readiness of the educational-methodical and material-technical base for conducting the experiment is checked

  • Approbations of the developed programs in experimental groups are carried out

  • The current control of knowledge on profile preparation of schoolboys is carried out

  • The quality of profile education of schoolchildren was monitored on the basis of vocational schools (final control of students' knowledge of profile education, initial questionnaire of schoolchildren)

  • Participated in scientific and practical conferences, seminars, round tables, published in collections of practical conferences, seminars

Problems encountered during the experiment

  • Lack of normative - legal base for conducting specialized training of schoolchildren on the basis of vocational schools

  • Teachers are paid by the school for the hours read

  • Students are transported to the lyceum by the school

  • Parents pay for driving

Hence the wishes of parents - children must receive the final document of the profession…

    

     Why we decided to continue the experiment
 

  • None of the 22 schools in the district has introduced specialized training in the technological field

  • Conducting specialized training of high school students on the basis of vocational schools:

- ensures the social prestige of the vocational school, its competitiveness in the market of educational services
- improves the quality of training of skilled workers


Profile training is based on the following principles:… variability and alternatives (educational programs, training technologies and educational and methodological support); continuity and continuity (between pre-professional training and specialized training, professional training); flexibility (content and forms of organization of specialized training, including distance learning; providing the possibility of changing the profile); …

  • Methodical support of full-time, part-time and distance form of specialized training of school students on the basis of vocational schools in the following directions: basics of beekeeping, office worker (accounting), basics of tractor business
